CURTAINS & BLINDS · DOHA
Compare the whole curtain, not one number.
Two quotations can describe very different work. This guide helps you compare like-for-like scope without inventing a price before the windows and materials are known.

01
Fabric quantity changes with construction
Width, finished drop, fullness, pattern matching and the number of panels affect the amount of fabric. A price per metre cannot describe the installed cost on its own. Ask how the fabric requirement has been calculated for each opening.
02
List the hardware and layers
A single pole and a double recessed track are different scopes. Lining, compatible gliders, brackets and motor components can also change the quotation. Record the heading, opening direction and number of layers rather than using only the word curtains.
03
Account for access and fitting
High ceilings, difficult fixing surfaces and restricted working hours can affect the work. Ask whether measurement, fitting, old-treatment removal and any electrical work are included. Timelines and payment terms should be agreed for the actual order.
04
Keep a simple comparison sheet
For each quote note the room, window count, dimensions, material references, lining, heading, hardware, fitting scope and total. Ask about substitutions and variation costs before approving. No fixed QAR rate or free service is advertised here without an approved price model.
A FEW PRACTICAL DETAILS
Before you choose
Can I get an exact price from a room photo?
A photo helps the initial discussion. Exact scope also needs dimensions, material and hardware decisions.
Why can similar-looking curtains cost differently?
Fabric, construction, hardware, installation and access may differ. Compare those items before comparing totals.
